Treasure Hunting
|
Our director Vincent Burrows worked with Time Team (Channel 4) at Canterbury & Eastry, Hidden Treasure series - Ringlemere Bronze Age Gold Cup and Finds of National Importance (BBC) and Past Finders (ITV). In today's connect world, media rights to a good treasure tale can be worth as much as the treasure itself. Being able to negotiate appropriate media deals - the right media, the right price and with confidentiality - is important.
Last year, we completed an archaeological study of Oak Island and the famous 'Money Pit' for a client, which provided detailed scientific data describing how each aspect of the legendary mystery came into being.
This year, we have completed an underground site survey at Rennes-le-Chateau, France. Our client is satisfied with the result. A global media agency is in place. Our first step in taking on a new project for a client is to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). We then analyse the research conducted so far and when needed, undertake our own. Only when we are reasonably sure that the time and investment of our client (and ourselves) is unlikely to be wasted, do we proceed. We direct projects for clients. That is, we take management responsibility for all aspects, from legal issues , through excavation to conservation and final placement of artefacts.
We have a number of our own projects running at any one time. All have media deals in place. Treasure Hunting at History Hunters Worldwide: |
We have conducted and been part of some of the most successful treasure hunts and have also been employed to solve some of the great mysteries surrounding legendary treasures.
